Can anyone help decifer the gap on  this birth record further in Kilmonivaig, Scotland.

it reads
1762 August 12th Duncan McIntyre of Ewan McIntyre.......... and of SArah Mackenzie his wife.

Tennant (Tenant), Turlundie?

A larger snip with surrounding text for comparison would help as I initially thought the 1st word may have been Servant.

I think there's at least 7 letters in the 1st word although I may be wrong?

thanks Annie. I dont have a larger piece but tenant makes sense as I think they were sheep farmers around Kilimonivaig. So my guess is the second work is a place around Speans Bridge.

I've just come across a tree with Duncan McIntyre, exact date/place you have & unbelievably the parents are wrong, given as Archibald & Margaret (m/s Campbell)! 

Such errors beggar belief as the parents names are correct on the index as well as the image.

There is an entry in the Wills section of Scotlands People which includes this description relating to someone's will:

....formerly Game-keeper, Achnabobane, Spean Bridge, d. 08/01/1891 at Torlundy near Spean Bridge, intestate

So, does seem to be located where you thought.

There are other Turlondie place names elsewhere as well such as in Banchory.

I think it says Duncan McIntyre  son of Ewan McIntyre etc..........and Sarah
