I think 1851 for Thomas is Prestwich - there is a tall letter at the end.
Rosehannah’s is difficult, I think.

Yes, the more I look at it the more I think it is Prestwich. Good to have confirmation.

Rosehannah definitely says Pendleton on the 1861, though I'm really not sure about the 1851.

Thank you wivenhoe for all this info: It really is of great interest & now furthers my confusion as to whether they are the correct family I am looking for.Our other Rootschat researchers have come up with Thomas Jones (dyer) on previous posts.
 On the info I have as stated initially on my search Rosannah Fox b.1797 married a Thomas Jones Malster of Prestwich Manchester 3 Nov 1823 St Mary's Eccles.

The info I have of Rosannah Fox & Thomas Jones(Malster) is from papers handed to me to work from done previously by a family relative who is now deceased. Problem now is where do I go from here.
It really does all sound good as heywood says.

I do know that Rosannah Jones married Robert Burgess at St Thomas in Pendleton 6th May 1860
I didn't have the other details though.I had her parents names Thomas Jones & Rosannah Fox,but not the witnesses to marriage which I am grateful for,& also the confirmation that her father was a Dyer.
Robert Burgess her spouse was born 1837 Church Stretton,Staffordshire.
