i also think this marriage is one of sarah's brothers. Especially as the witness is a sarah nicholl and one of the addresses mentioned is holles row.

james and eliza dowling 1871:

However, your Sarah Nichol married in 1867?

hi folks, bringing this post up again as i am just so boggled with this family.

two people i am sure am related to "my" sarah nicholl b.1848 are

Anne and Catherine Nicholl.

I think Anne married James Dennison in 1873

https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1873/11272/8134198.pdf

https://registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls000639791#page/106/mode/1up

the addresses on this one match up as the family was local to wintetavern st and wood quay, would also solidify my belief of a perhaps isabella nicholl in the family.

I think catherine married John Reid in 1880.

https://registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls000633495#page/235/mode/1up

the addresses on this also match up and the witness Michael Gormley is a familiar name.

there is also this marriage, which is absolutely wrecking my head.

Catherine Nicholl married Joseph Clarke 1859 (last entry on page)

https://registers.nli.ie//registers/vtls000639791#page/24/mode/1up

the address is exactly the same as other ancestors in the family and there is a later reference to a teresa clarke so i think this is definitely something. her parents names being James and Catherine almost implies to me that she could be sarah's sister. However James and Catherine only married in 1846 so at the most the Catherine in this marriage would only be 13?

Would appreciate help. Thanks :)
