Could anyone offer any information, (ie Marriage, Death) on Grace Lydia Baker please, born 1901\2 Islington .Parents Ralph T Baker and Ellen L Tutton ..I have up to the 1911 census, living with Ralph and Edith her step mum ,  but cant find her after..Unfortunately no family members left to ask for any more information

I see he has a different wife on census.

There is a Grace Lydia Baker on electoral register 1926 Bethnal Green with a Thomas Henry Baker but that could be a different couple.

Ralph died December 1958 and left a will - probate to widow Edith.  Entry is in 1959.

Yes he had 4 sons and a daughter with his second wife, one being my hubbys father..Yes i found that marriage.. Thank you

Thank you for your help thus far. I will try the will /probate site.. I tried the 39 register, but not sure which one maybe her ...could anyone poss look at one of the members trees listed on ancestry, I'm no longer a member so unfortunatly can't open them Grace is listed in several I believe

She was baptised 7.9.1902 but unfortunately no actual birthdate given on the baptism.  Knowing her actual birthdate could possibly find her on the 1939 register - no guarantees though

I looked at the public trees for Grace Lydia BAKER. One has her birth as 1903, Islington and baptism 7 SEp 1902.  It provides no other info except for her parents' names.

The other has her birth registration and baptism, birth and death of a sister, and merely has her death after 1911. So not much help there either.

Thank you, an elusive butterfly..Its times like this I wished I had asked more questions when the family were all alive.
Going to check the 1921 census today, see if it sheds any light..
