Birth registration district
« on: Friday 07 January 22 16:21 GMT (UK) »
Hi, I have eagerly downloaded the 1921 census for my Grandparents. My Grandmother gives her Birthplace as Upper Chapel Breconshire in 1894.  Could anyone please advise which district this would come under.  Thanks

All census look up transcriptions are Crown Copyright http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/

Have you looked for her birth registration via FreeBMD?  That will give you the District and you can then click on the District name which will give you the areas covered.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
