Does anyone have access to Ballyfermot parish records circ. 1940 Our Lady of the Assumption.

Probably the only place to get such recent baptismal records would be the church itself. Have you tried contacting them?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

there seems to be a St. Matthews church also . . which was originally part of Ballyfermot parish.

Before 1953, these were part of Inchicore parish
