I am looking for details from a divorce case in the Court of Arches in 1830, case number 6532 (Microfilm Lambeth Palace Library MS Film 109), Assignation Books 23 Mar 1830 – 5 Jun 1835.

There are two references in the Lambeth Palace Library online catalogue:
Arches Aaa 44
Arches H 442A/1

The original material is not produced – the microfilm must be used.

Mary Dixon NAIRN of Birmingham, Warwickshire petitioned for divorce from Fasham NAIRN of West Hoathly Sussex on grounds of adultery and cruelty.

If the record is easy to find then I am hoping some kind soul could find out:

1. The name, status, and address of the other woman – I think it is Ann KING widow who may have been housekeeper to Fasham NAIRN at his London residence.

2.  Any mention of a child from the relationship.  If the other woman is Ann King then the child will be Fasham Nairn KING born 6 Mar 1827 or 12 Mar 1828 (long story not relevant to this enquiry, but if either date could be confirmed that would be good).

3. If the case actually proceeded.  I suspect it did not – or was unsuccessful.

Thank you in anticipation.  Not sure how the current situation affects access to libraries.  Anyone responding, please keep safe.
