Hello,

For context - is this the Robert Farmer(y)  who married Hannah Battison ? Age 40, a Collier & Living in Wath 1841, youngest two children Moses (ages 2 in 1841), and Aaron (age 1 mth in 1841) ?

Elscar Reform Row,  Township of Hoyland, Wath upon Deane
HO107 / P1329, B10; ED 8a, F5, P2

Edit: added
This couple married 8 Nov 1824, Wath upon Deane. Both said to be " of this Parish" (which doesn't mean they were born there, only that they were living in the Parish at the time)

If this is your couple, they both died - him in Dec 1841 and she in Jan 1842

GRO: Death Dec Qtr 1842,  Reg Ecclesfield - Robert Farmer aged 42
Burial Record: Robert Farmer, aged 40, Abode: Elsecar, buried 26 Dec 1841, Wath Upon Deane

GRO: Died Mar Qtr 1842, Reg Eccelesfield - Hannah Farmer, aged 35
Burial Record: Hannah Farmer age 36, Abode: Elsecar, buried 14 Jan 1842, Wath Upon Deane

For your chap, how do you know he was born in Wath? I see the Baptism posted below too... :-)  by Waynenort

If Robert and wife Hannah died before 1851 census -  trying to find their children in 1851, esp. the younger ones who might be farmed out  ;D  to relatives - not a lot of luck....

Son William b abt 1837  who is on 1841:
Married 1857 in Wath,  to Sarah Ann Eveners
His father: Robert Farmer, Collier
One of the witness' was Aaron Farmer
Williams records all indicate born b abt  1837 Elsecar

But Aaron  who is 1 mth old on 1841 looks like this one ......and takes us down a different road of possibility:

In 1851 Aaron looks to be:  At Colliers Square, Rawmarsh
Head: John Farmery 53, Coal Miner, b Rawmarsh (abt 1798)
Wife: Ann 57, b Kimberworth
Son: John 16, Coal Miner, b Rawmarsh
Son: Joseph 14, Labourer Ironworks, b Rawmarsh
** Nephew: Aaron Farmery 9, scholar, b Hoyland
Visitor: Alfred C*mmnock 5, scholar, b Rawmarsh

Aaron Farmery married 1859, Darton, Barnsley Yks  age 19, to widow Ann Corbridge nee Cherryhome?  age 30. His census to 1881, has PoB as Elsecar.

Uncle John FARMERY , b abt 1798 Rawmarsh
https://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/YKS/WRY/Rawmarsh

His baptism?
https://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/YKS/WRY/Rawmarsh/RawmarshBaptisms1790-1799
Baptised 6 May 1798 John FARMLEY
Son of Joseph Farmley, Labourer and wife Ann,  daughter of Jeremiah Sharp. Abode Rawmarsh

And his brother?
https://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/YKS/WRY/Rawmarsh/RawmarshBaptisms1800-1809
Baptised 24 08 1800, Robert FARMLEY
Son of Joseph Farmkey, Labourer and wife Ann,  daughter of Jeremiah Sharp. Abode Rawmarsh

Thankyou for taking the time to search. I don't think the one in Thorne is related to them. Such a shame both parents died young. I will certainly follow up the ones you have found.
Thankyou very much.
