Lawrence Carlin
« on: Saturday 15 January 22 13:31 GMT (UK) »
Hi
Looking for information on Lawrence Carlin died 1953, he was the son of Thomas & Teresa Carlin….Lawrence was a porter at the old city hotel. Lawrence’s father Thomas was a tea blender and they lived on Foyle Road Londonderry/Derry…Lawrence was 29 when he died. I know Lawrence had a sister not sure of her name…but think she went to America.
Any family still out there please get in touch.

Just an up date on Lawrence, they lived at 99 Foyle Road Londonderry/Derry…his father Thomas died in 1963 and his mother Teresa died in 1986. They are all buried together in Derry city cemetery.
Kind regards

Derry Journal, 14 Oct.1938: ... should such statements repeated, legal proceedings will be instituted against the persons responsible. THOMAS CARLIN (Junior), 99, Foyle Road, Londonderry.

Also a brother Thomas?
Derry Journal, 8 Nov.1954: CARLIN 1st Anniversary—ln loving memory of my dear brother, Laurence, Foyle Road, Derry, who died on 9th November, 1953. R.I.P. Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on his soul. Masses offered. Ever remembered by his brother. Thomas Carlin, sister-in-law Mary, and family.

There were other Carlins at 99 Foyle Rad.

I didn ‘t know that…take it down then…I didn’t see on the memorial page where it said you couldn’t use material from the site.
I’m happy for you to take it off this site, if I have broken any rules
Kind regards Argyle
