Hong Kong births 1931/2

Hi, I'm looking for 2 births in Hong Kong, in 1931 and December 1932, a son called Sonny Toledo/Bone and daughter perhaps Dolores Janet. The parents were Rose Ida Bone or Toledo, and Herman Toledo. Herman was from the Philippines and Rose was born in Shanghai to a British father.

Are there any publicly available records that anyone could very kindly point me to? I haven't been able to find anything on Ancestry.

You could try the Hong Kong Weekly Press.  I don't know if they had birth announcements but I did find a 1908 marriage reported.  There are also some other English language newspapers online at the same Hong Kong Public Library site.

Very many thanks. Yes I did have a look there, but nothing came up. I was thinking there ought to have been some official registers, but maybe they're just not accessible online.

It's been a while since I searched for and found that marriage but my recollection is that the search function did not work well and I only found the marriage by going through issue by issue for 1908.  Fortunately, it was in one of the first issues I looked at.
