I would bet that Sarah made it to 100. Those Hurls and Wattersons had longevity, especially Wattersons where we have found more than one who made it to 100. I have been looking for Sadie's birth is Scotland but haven't found it yet. Strange. Still looking.
Also bet you have found the correct son Donald and daughter Marilyn Shane. You are fabulous. Back to Scotland looking for Sadie's birth. There are several Marys which may be what the M is for in Sarah M.

Well, no wonder I couldn't find Sarah Marie's birth in Scotland. She was born in Ireland Feb 23, 1914 so that would indeed be her getting to 100 on Feb 23, 2014.
On the Magherafelt War Dead site, I found this:

Samuel Hall married Mary Jane Hurl, who was from Magherafelt, but it seems likely that they married in Glasgow in 1911.
Their son Samuel was born in Scotland in 1912.
Samuel Hall emigrated to Winnipeg, Canada about 1912.
His wife and son visited him in Winnipeg for a few months in 1913, where she became pregnant. She returned to Magherafelt, and her daughter Sarah Marie Hall was born there in 1914.
Samuel worked as a machinist’s helper. He was living at 2 Bury Street, Winnipeg.
he died on Saturday 28th April 1917. He was 32 years old.

So Samuel's death should be in Winnipeg.

Thank you Sandra for this additional info about Samuel Hall, Jr and Samuel Sr.’s attestation and subsequent death. Samuel and Mary certainly didn’t spend much time together. Interesting trail of events.
Mary and all her are siblings have been accounted for now including those that stayed in Ireland. Thank you so very much.
