Annie Carr
« on: Sunday 23 January 22 19:57 GMT (UK) »
Hi
Does anyone remember Annie Carr, she had a fruit & veg shop on William Street Derry…she died in 1943. If anyone know’s of any photos of the shop etc that would be great. Annie was from Donegal. On the 1901 census she was living with her sister Ellen Carr and an aunt on William street.
Kind regards
Argyle

She has been dead for 78yrs.  Anybody who remembers her would probably also now be dead.

My late mother remembered the shop and she only passed away 4 years ago.

Are there any Facebook groups with old photos and memories?
You could try searching ‘Images’ on Google too for street photos.
