Help please?

Hi all. This is my very first post, so i hope it is in the right place.    I am trying to find information relating to my irish ancestors,but have very little to work with. My gtgtgt grandparents were John Bogue and Helen (or Ellen) Halliday. they married on 2.4.1871 in St Annes, Belfast, and by 1873 they were in scotland. I believe Johns' father was called Michael and Helens' called John. Thats about all i have, if anyone can offer help or advice, i would be really grateful. Thank you
