Hi, I'm not quite sure where to look with this one anymore any insight would be appreciated.

I am a descendent of Amelia Rachel Bennett born 1841 - Warminster
From Census records I know her siblings and parents are as follows

Father - James Bennett born 1810 - West Camel, Somerset
Mother - Elizabeth Unknown born 1811 - Thornford Dorset

SIBLINGS
Eliza Bennett born 1833 - Guernsey, Channel Islands
William Bennet born 1835 - Guernsey, Channel Islands
Sarah Michael bennett born 1837 - Donhead, Wiltshire
Robert Bennett born 1838 - Donhead, Wiltshire
Amelia Rachel Bennett - 1841 - Warminster, Wiltshire
Charles Herbert Bennett 1843 - Warminster, Wiltshire
James Albert Bennett 1846 - Shaftesbury, Dorset
Emily Elizabeth Bennett 1848 - Shaftesbury, Dorset

All of the birth locations are constant with the census records from 1841 onwards.

James Bennetts occupation is
Chaise Driver 1841 - living in Warminster
Hoster 1851- Shaftesbury
Hostler 1861 - Blandford
Propetier ? I've attached this as cannot make it out 1871 - Portsea Hampshire -
Dies in 1873

my question is what is Elizabeth's last name, I cannot seem to find a marriage record, I've searched OPC Dorset website, and localities within these locations. I'm also curious as to the eldest two children of this family having been born in Guernsey, I did think they could have married there, hence no records but am not sure how legitimate this would be..

Any opinions welcome, thanks in advance

I have a not down as her parents as John Veal and Elizabeth Jane Brooks, though cannot remember where I got this information from, this couple lived in Guernsey it appears from census records

What you can do is look up birth registrations for the children born 1841 onwards on the GRO index which will give the mothers maiden name.

You have to register to use the site but it is free to use and very useful for birth/death information.

Will have a look for the youngest child Emily Elizabeth.

Emily Elizabeth Bennett born Dec 1848 Shaftesbury has mothers maiden name Burrow.

James Albert born Dec 1846 Shaftesbury also has Burrow. 

Charles Herbert born Mar 1843 Warminster has Burrow. 

Amelia Rachel born Mar 1841 Warminster has Burrow.

Robert James born Jun 1838 Tisbury has Burrowes but more than likely the same family.

There is a baptism for an Elizabeth Burrow 2 Jun 1811 Thornford Dorset with parents

that seems to fit nicely as those names were used for the children.

Re the occupation - cab proprietor.

Ah yes I've just found the baptisms on ancestry too!  Hopefully that'll help further back now.

I can't see a marriage either, not in England anyway. 

Maybe you could post in the Channel Islands section as well (and provide a link to this topic)
in case people with more knowledge of Guernsey records can help.

Sarah Michaell Bennett was baptised at Thornford 25 Dec 1836 - parents James & Elizabeth - James occ Labourer

When Robert was baptised in 1838 Father's occupation was Postboy

His occupation was also postboy on the baptisms of Amelia Rachel (1841). Charles Herbert (1843)
