Who owns whom in the DNA world?
« on: Wednesday 26 January 22 15:56 GMT (UK) »
I recently read that I can upload my DNA data to FindMyPast, even though I was tested by another company.  It seemed a good idea, but I was surprised to find that when I tried, I was rerouted to Living DNA.

I'd already put my data there, so I wondered if anyone else knows who owns whom in the DNA world?

LivingDNA don't own Findmypast or vice versa, they just have an agreement with them, probably because they are both British companies, all the other DNA companies are US (Ancestry, FTDNA, 23andme) or Israel (MyHeritage) based.
