There is a death of a Patrick May aged 59 in the registration District of Crossmollina  on 13/12/1874.  He is a servant and the person who reported the death seems to live in Doolcastle?

Thanks for 1921 info, liqnov.

Is that Deelcastle rather than Doocastle?

Yes the 1921 says Bunannadden, Mayo, Ireland see attachment

So he wasn't sure which county he lived in.  ;)

Bunnanadden is a small village in south County Sligo.

Hopefully we’ll get there  :)

From Family Search
‘ The Catholic parish of Kilshalvy, Kilturra and Cloonoghill is now called Bunninadden. It included the civil parishes of the same names, Kilshalvey and Cloonaghill in county Sligo, Kilturra, partly in county Mayo, but chiefly in Sligo, as well as a part of Toomour in Sligo. (The larger part of Toomour is in the Catholic parish of Keash or Drumrat.) There were chapels in Killavil and Bunnanadden (variant spelling). ’

Apologies if I am repeating information which has been posted already.
I posted this census (1851) before
https://www.rootschat.com/links/01r8g/

It mentions Lughdoon.

Here is the baptism of Mary May, August, 1843 - Lugdoon. Parents are Pat May and Catherine Callaghan.

This is perhaps the person named in 1851 - Patrick May born Mayo in Rathbaun North
1901
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Sligo/Kilturra/Rathbaun_North/1689055/

1911 - Pat Maye - again born Mayo
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Sligo/Kilturra/Rathbaun_North/773826/

It seems that this is the couple - both Maye - married Bunninadden church
