Colour Codes Ancestry DNA Help please

Hello to all,
I feel so inadequate when I can't work something out!

My sub finishes with Ancestry soon, and I would like to colour Code my matches. That is presuming I will be able to still access them!

All you Chatters seem to know how to do it and vary the ways to apply the colours, but I do not know how to access the dots in the first place!
Then how to apply them to my names.

Can you please instruct this old gal (I taught myself computer stuff) how to go about it?

OK, I have worked out how to colour code the DNA matches.
Can I now do the same to the people on my trees?

I don't think you can colour code people on Ancestry trees.  However colour coding your matches is to allow you to see, ultimately, the match descent and you can group all people with the same descent into a group.  You don't need to do that to people in your trees as you can see by stepping back through the generations from whom they descend.
