That is annoying Candleflame!

What a super cake, I’ll bet he was pleased Carol.

We watched The Coronation on a kind neighbours’ nine inch screen TV .
Gosh ,that was something!
Then to see it in colour years later , we really know how to do things don’t we!

Had a lazy day really , pottering , but just eaten, chicken.
Two chicken breast fillets were £3, a whole medium chicken at Tesco £3-50.
Did as it said on the packaging ,but still pretty tasteless.

David Attenborough on TV.
We will all be eating plants in time to come as cattle rearing is so destructive to the environment.
Amazing methods of ridding areas of invasive non native plants.

Well, hope everyone is alright, look after yourselves .
Cheerio for now.
Viktoria.

I couldn't agree more about the last episode of Landscape Artist… I didn’t like any of them and frankly, in my humble opinion, I wouldn’t have chosen any of them! I thought the wild card choice was by far the best! Ah well what did know!

The Queen is a credit to us as a nation and certainly know just how to behave.. never a foot out of place.I’m sure life isn’t as easy for her now not having Philip by her side. I did think she’s starting to look a little more frail and looks like she’s lost quite a bit of weight… hardly surprising the year she’s had. I bet she’d have a wonderful book to write about all the Prime ministers she’s had to deal with!

Love you picture Jeff of them landing in Kenya…I flew to Ethiopia on a BOAC flight in the mid 50’s .. never knew they were referred to as Better on a Camel! Made me laugh.

As always Viktoria your memories of past times are so wonderful and I learn something new every day!

CF - printers can be such a b….. always deciding to throw a wobbly when you least want them to.. glad you got it sorted.

Well the birthday cake when down well apparently and was given the seal of approval for accuracy by no 2 grandson!
Here’s a picture of the final cake… non left now and the fondant aircraft remain are wingless… all eaten!

Another week comes to a close… where are they all going.. I read today that Mums on Mumsnet are up in arms as retailers are producing valentines stuff for parents to give to kids 😱😳😳… what will they dream up next!

Take care all

Caroline

Opps it’s sideways on I’m afraid… don’t know how to change it!

Super cake!

Re cards, how about one for untidy bedrooms ?

“Don’t leave your bedroom like this( picture of chaos) it is bad for your
pocket “.
Inside ——-“ There will be no pocket money in it”
My neighbour had three unruly spoilt boys, she never checked them.
The youngest was the worst.
On the Queens’s Silver Jubilee,we planned a little street party in the small  back street that served only six houses.
However the day was rainy so we moved into my house ,food games etc .
When it was time to go home ,for them two doors away ,the Dad asked the small one to say Thankyou to me ,he wouldn’t’,wanted to stay longer.
Dad said “You must say Thankyou ,if you don’t it will be bad for your legs”
I ,puzzled asked why —- “ Because if he doesn’t say Thankyou I might have to smack his legs” .
Mother very overprotective flared up ——— so the day ended with a big row between the parents !
Oh happy days.
Viktoria.

What a fantastic cake Caroline, so imaginative. It seems a shame to destroy it by scoffing it but I guess that's what it's for!  :D
