The process to get a photo on your profile seems to involve posting it to the forum first, then copying the URL.  I wasn't really clear where you were supposed to put it, so I'm just testing it here...

Although it can be done this way the "proper" method is in your profile
"look and layout" select I will upload my own picture and then click on browse to find the image on your hard drive and click on ok

Where most problems occur is in the limited file size of these images and if the overall file size is too large The Rootschat system will automatically refuse to accept it without any obvious explanation.
