Hi Peety

Can't help with Margo's details but just reading Hugh Brown's obit here www.heraldscotland.com/news/12478802.hugh-brown-former-features-editor-of-the-evening-times/ He sounds like he was a  charismatic man doesn't he. To quote from his obit: A memorable "Gentleman of the Press" if ever there was one.

Hi Monica
He does indeed sound very charismatic, I have seen that article and  just surprised I cannot find much more detail on a man who obviously lived a very interesting life!

4 Sept 1918 is her correct birth date, confirmed from her 1939 register entry following her marriage to William Marriott.

The death in 2007 does look to be hers.

There is a contact link at the bottom of the link for emails to the Maidstone Council Bereavement Services Team https://maidstone.gov.uk/home/primary-services/burials-and-cremations/cemetery

You could contact them and make enquiries about possible cremation or burial in Maidstone for Margo. You have a death date which is always really helpful when making this type of enquiry.
