Hi trying to find a birth or baptism for a William Boase census say he was born in Middlesex  parents were John Boase and Betsy Broadley birth must have been 1841 as he appears in that census as 2 months old. Have looked on Anchestry and find my past but dont seem to be able to find the birth.

No birth entry for brother John bc.1839 (Redruth per 1861 census) either.

Found family in 1861 in Devon with 2 more children - Mary bc.1848 Southampton and David bc.1854 Jersey.   Mary's birth registered Dec.1847 Southampton, mmn Broadley.

John Boase married Betsey Broadley 17/5/1836 Falmouth, Cornwall.

Just a thought,
FALMOUTH, Devon, Southampton, Middlesex,.. might he been  in
military?
Sometimes when you cannot find births the father might have been in  the services or a  boatman.

John  gives his birthplace as Redruth all the way through.
72 on the 1911  it is the same John. His sister Mary born in Southampton.
They were in Marylebone when William was born.
The family  give  the same birthplace each time.
Redruth registers must have it.
Maybe contact Truro family history Society or even Truro Record Office. Both are always helpful.
There is also  a very helpful Cornish site but the are escapes  me.

A funny thing happened when I was looking at the Marylebone 1841 for yours because I found one of  mine and he may  be just the answer to a question I have long wanted  answered.
