I found his mother's maiden name from GRO Index but have had no luck with Familysearch.

Parents married 1844 at St Martin's Tipton Staffordshire.

As they were both from Kidderminster I wonder why they married in Staffs.  Might be worth checking if they had the children baptised there

It looks like Betsy was quite pregnant when they married 17th July so that may explain the distant marriage.

Thank you for all the suggestions.  A William E TAYLOR, born in Kidderminster in 1857 is found in 1891 living in Bristol, described as a musician and married to an Elizabeth who states she was born in Madrid, Spain.  I think he died in Bristol in 1897 and must have married between 1881 and 1891.  Can anyone help with his marriage?

Had a look and all of the marriages in Bristol and Kidderminster and it's none of them I'm afraid.
Any idea fo any children so we could find her maiden name?
