Western Daily Mercury 02 June 1864 has a bankruptcy notice for a William Henry Ford of 24 Edgcumbe Street, East Stonehouse - Boot and shoe manufacturer. 

Unfortunately he is not at that address on the 1861 census RG09.  Piece 1446. Folio 187 p6
