It is a little confusing because her birth gives mother's maiden name as Beard.

In 1921 she is living with a William Beard born Glastonbury head and his wife Emily Beard born Cinderford. Lena is down as stepdaughter. So I thought that was her mother and stepfather. Yet in the previous census she is in Cardiff with the same parents. They are all called Stride.
