Blushing  :) :)

So strange there is no death for John Blaiklock listed in the Quebec, Canada, Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1968.  A number of trees quote the death as 1827 (no source), one even quotes a date of 13 December 1928 - 15 Ste. Geneve Street, Quebec ?
Another quotes 1833 (no source)

All the children of Musgrave and Elizabeth Blaiklock seem to be born in London. 1790/1792/1794/ in London.

Wondering if none of them (including his wife Elizabeth Blaiklock) arrived in Canada until after the death of Musgrave in 1815  :-\

I cannot believe just how many John Musgrave Blaiklock's there are -- coming DOWN through the decades. They are in all different places/countries also.

Amazing -- as it's such an unusual name you would imagine that they are linked to the same family at some point (going backwards.)

I am completely stumped with this one now.

When I first found him he was called John William Muscow Chester Blaiklock but I understand why now. And so often transcribed as Blaiklock. Very interesting for me (my daughter-in-laws ancestors) as I only have plain John Greens and ag labs. ;D

Wonder if John William Musgrave Blaiklock 1794 was in the military - could he had died some where other than Canada ? Just a thought.

Yoo hoo... I just saw your post. The actual name is John MUSGRAVE Blaiklock, brother to George and Henry Musgrave Blaiklock.

I was wondering if you got your information. Henry is an uncle of mine (4th grand uncle) and I do have some informaiton about the family (but not too much about John specifically).

Let me know if you are interested
