There is a baptism for a Sarah Vale on freereg.
1818 in West Stow.
Father John a labourer and mother Sarah.

I don’t know if dates and places tally but it’s the only likely one on freereg, though not all areas are covered.

Is Sarah related to the Halls?

The West Stow Vale family appear in the 1841 at Upper House, West Stow. John, 54, ag lab. Wife Sarah, 56, and several children. I’m not sure how you would confirm if these are your Sarah’s family. She is a fair way from home, but if the Halls are related that may explain it.

Added: apologies Alan, I seem to be a couple of steps behind you. Rereading the thread I missed your reply at #5 and posted the same information. My excuse …. I was multitasking last night and missed a couple of posts. Sorry for doubling up.  :)
