John and Faithful - 1905?

This is John and Faithful, my gggndparents, Co. Armagh. I am told it is 1905 - but is this not too late?
O'Neill, Balmer, Dick, Lockhart, Jeffers, Morton, Ringland.

I've just done a quick  conversion to black and white to make it easier to see the photograph,
