Both the 1911 Census posted above for Patrick McCarron and the 1901 Census here have his Birthplace as Co. Monaghan  1841-1843                                                      1901 Census Annagally http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Monaghan/Killylough/Annagally/1639476/

Patrick McCarron was a widower on the above 1901 census.

This is likely to be the death of his wife Mary in Killylough townland on 5 March 1901 (just before the census was taken).
