Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for relatives of Gunner Richard Frederick Dyer - Service No :- 2709  - Royal Garrison Artillery -  died 7/11/1916
Buried Highgate Cemetery.

The commission are in the process of producing a headstone to mark his grave. At the moment commemorated on the Brookwood Memorial.

Richard was 38 years old and the son of William and Elizabeth Dyer. He left a widow, Emily Jane Dyer.

Harold Cecil Dyer born 1907 married 3 March 1929 (aged 22 years)
Marriage Place Christ Church, Brondesbury, Brent.
Father Richard Frederick Dyer - Spouse Mabel Lavinia Hollowell.

Couple may have had 1 son (born 3 October 1933 - who may have passed away) but dates are not matching to positively identify him at mo.

The daughter of Richard and Emily was born  10 August 1904 according to the  UK, World War I Pension Ledgers and Index Cards for her father Richard Frederick Dyer)
