Hi

I think , well pretty sure that I am Richard Frederick Dyers great grandson , his son Harold Cecil was my Grandad , and his son Richard Harold born 3rd October 1933 was my Dad.

I have just started to research  Gunner Dyers WWI Death Penny Plaque which I have along with the commemorative scroll , and the letter sent to Mrs Emily Jane Dyer from the Territorial Force Record Office in Perth. Cause of death  - Gastric Ulcer Haematites ..... and a newspaper clipping that appears to indicate he was cleared fit for duty in Mill Hill and then died within a month in Dundee.

So the wonders of Google have led me here.....

Cheers.....   Mark Richard Dyer
