Auckland branch ARCHIVES NZ - advisory.

Today I find on the NZNA site this advisory re their Auckland branch.

"The Auckland reading room will be closed for 4 weeks from 7th February to 7th March. During this time you won't be able to visit us, send research enquiries or make digitisation requests."

As advised to several threads where I have offered to photograph files, my voluntary service of paying it forward, is on hold.  I plan upon returning at some future date, once they are accepting bookings, and I am happy that I will not, unnecessarily, be exposing myself to COVID risk.

Therefore I am still happy to register an interest, but have no idea when, or if I can fulfill it.

Unfortunately rapid COVID spread through the unvaccinated, and children, in the Waikato, is putting considerable pressure on our primary export producers, and our ability to care for our livestock.
