Just to follow up on my attempts to find more about this family I found a piece of information to back up the family tree info I had on mother Elizabeth’s maiden name.
Daughter Sarah emigrated to Australia with husband John Gough. When he died she remarried a man surname Vincent. On the marriage records for that marriage she says her mother’s maiden name is Beams. But I still can’t find a marriage for James and Elizabeth or any other records.
