Could Elizabeth Ann Evans nee Thomas be the sister of George Henry Thomas who married Anita?

I’m not sure if they are siblings I was looking to see if I could find them together on a census  ???

Witnesses to Hugh & Lizzie’s  marriage were
William Thomas, Owen Richard Thomas, Sidney Evans & ?ily Thomas

There is a Lizzie Ann Thomas with brother Owen Richard, their father William , occ Draper, Grocer & postmaster Piece:   5275 Folio:   58 Page Number:   8

William Thomas   55
Ann Thomas   53
Lizzie Ann Thomas   22
Owen Richd Thomas   20
William Idwal Thomas    18
they are together on 1891 c father William occ  Tailor & Draper

and 1881 Piece:   5562 Folio:   115 Page Number:   22

Wm. Thomas   34
Ann Thomas   35
Elth. Ann Thomas   2
Laura A. Williams   15
Owen Thomas

When Owen Richard Thomas, 30, master baker married 1910 father William Thomas, general dealer

EDIT to add

Looking at the marriage of George Henry Thomas to Anita Elizabeth Tydlesley,
his father William Thomas occ  Ship Owner & Broker

Witnesses to marriage
Robert John Thomas, Mabel Louise Holt & William Thomas

George can be found with his father & siblings 1881 in Lancashire

St James Road, Bootle cum Linacre, West Derby, Lancashire
William   Thomas   Head   1838   Ship owner & ship broker   Wales
Catherine   Thomas   Wife   1840   -   Liverpool, Lancashire, England
Robert J   Thomas   Son   S1873   Scholar   Liverpool, Lancashire
Margaret   Thomas   Daughter   6   1875   Scholar   Liverpool, Lancashire
William M   Thomas   Son   1877   -   Liverpool, Lancashire
George H   Thomas   Son   1881   -   Bootle, Lancashire
Mary   Thomas   Mother   Widow   1803   -   Wales
Jane   Porter   Servant   1869   General servant   Liverpool, Lancashire
Elizabeth   Watkins   Cousin   Married   Female   55   1826   -   Wales

So this confirms that Lizzie Ann Thomas & George Henry Thomas are not siblings  :-\

I am also trying to trace Miss Dwynwen Evans of Ty Lawr Newborough

She is mentioned in Anita’s will.

There are a number of births on FreeBMD for persons named Dwynwen Evans

You mentioned that Dwynwen Evans is on Anita's Will. Is there any other information that might be helpful?

The Electoral Register for Anglesey goes up to the Year 1977 - I could only see an Annie Dwynwen Evans mentioned living at Glanmorfa & Ty Lawr with Hugh Rowland & Elizabeth Ann Evans

Can I ask

What the context for the mention in the times was? Anita exhibited work in the Royal Cambrian Academy of Art but not until 1935 and 1936.

‘The only painting I could spot was "Autumn Landscape", mentioned in the Times Jun 25 1934. Googling "Autumn Landscape Tregarneth" delivered an image.’

Can I also ask what the obituary said

Many thanks.

The only "obit" spotted was a very short Death notice in The Times
The Times, 25 Jun 1934
ART EXHIBITIONS - WOMEN ARTISTS
"... the seventy-ninth exhibition of the Society of Women Artists, at the Royal Institute Galleries, 195, Piccadilly ... there are several good oil painters ... "
It goes on to list them and the last named "...and "Autumn Landscape" by Miss (sic) Anita Tregarneth, all have artistic distinction".

Note my "obit" is in inverted commas and states "very short Death notice."
The Times, 2 Dec 1972
Deaths - Tregarneth, Anita. - On November 29th, 1972, peacefully in Jersey

Thanks for this incredible work LadyHawke I really appreciate it and everyone else.
The will gives a list of people but she is the only one on Anglesey.
The only other with a connection is John Howell Hughes a docter based in Liverpool. There is a full obituary for him which includes him being sheriff of Anglesey in 1954 and awarded an OBE (after Anitas Death).
Thanks again
