james cairns and cathrine cairns

need some help finding the cairns  they married 1874  but cannot find them after that but their children are with my mothers family christie in the 1891 census  been in spweb site nothing no deaths and not in census after marriage can any one help thank you

I see a likely death for Catherine Cairns. 1883 in Sorbie, aged 31. Mothers maiden name is Cook which fits with the information on the 1874 marriage. GROS 897/16. That certificate should tell you whether James was still alive in 1883. If he was, perhaps he re-married? Search for that.

When were James & Cathrine born?

Who were the children?  Any born before 1881 so we can look for them there?

hi the children age in 1891 was it looks like elizabeth 16  mary 13 and james 8 not realy clear on 1891 census
