Trying to trace 2nd great-grandmothers family - Mullan
« on: Thursday 03 March 22 10:45 GMT (UK) »
I have hit a slight dead end in trying to trace my 2nd great-grandmothers family as unsure of where to look as I have very little information to go on. What I do know is listed below.

Her name is Margaret Mullan, born sometime around 1860 in County Londonderry from wht is mentioned on the 1901 and 1911 census forms. She married a man named William Cassidy on 8th November 1876 in Tamlaght O'Crilly. On the marriage record her father is listed as John Mullan.
Margaret had a large family with William - 9 daughters and 3 sons. I know all of these details.
What I am trying to find is Margaret Mullans mother's name and if she had any siblings at the moment as all I have to go on is her fathers name which is John Mullan and an area of which they lived in which can range from Kilrea to Upperlands which is where most of the family lived.
