Marriage Register Look up request Claines, Worcestershire

Hi

Can some kind person look up the Marriage of Thomas Parker to Charlotte Parker at Claines, Worcestershire 25th July 1831. I have the brief transcript but given they have the same surname it would be very helpful to know the father's name and occupation [if shown] or any witnesses. Just wondering how these are related? Banns or licence would be helpful as well.

I suggest that you ask the County records office for an image of the complete page. Assuming a witness is a relative may be misleading.  Seeing other entries can ID if the names mightbe professional witnesses. 

I'd have suggested using ancestry or findmypast,  but neither appear to have the image

Unfortunately fathers names and occupations weren't listed on marriages that far back.

Someone may be able to provide other information for you.

Did Thomas and Charlotte have a daughter named Mercy born 1843. If so Charlottes dob is c1810/11

Could this possibly be her baptism.

The only Thomas and Charlotte I can find on the censuses lived in Tardibigge, Bromsgrove.

I don't know if that is the right family, but Charlotte's birth name was Hunt, baptised in Arrow, Warwickshire, on 29 Dec 1811, daughter of George and Hannah.

1871 we have;
Thomas Barker 51 Head Coal Dealer born Bagworth, Worcestershire
Charlotte Barker 51 Wife born Tukberrow, Worcestershire

I have noticed that a Thomas Parker married Charlotte Hunt in Birmingham in 1832, so not the same family as the one in Claines.

Many thanks, JohnHood that's the folk I am looking for. Please note all I have all the censuses 1841-1881 and they were in Walsall, Staffordshire and died there. It's just a pity Worcestershire is poorly covered on Ancestry, Find My Past to Family Search. No images just text.....
