I didnt notice them in Staffs and as no children were born and reg post 1837 then I couldnt confirm the Mothers maiden name for the Family I posted.

Therefore that may be Thomas and Charlotte nee Hunt I followed.

Trish, I came to the same ending for Thomas Parker in 1851 but do have reservations.

In 1841 Charlotte and 3 children are in Walsall Union Workhouse.

Yes I had seen that 1841 Census entry and thought it may be Charlotte.

And had seen the 1851 etc.

Maybe William had done a runner or Charlotte did!

I believe they had other children between 1832 (Thomas) and Eli (1837). Think they were non conformists. Double baptism 25.6.1837 Charlotte & Thomas Parker,  Worcs. Charlotte death

Its just one of those mysteries we all have in our Tree.

Either of them may have been unhappy and left or it was a mutual decision.

If only we could go back in time to ask!

Many thanks to you in fifty years of search family history this has to be the best. Tangled web or what.
Charlotte Parker mar Thomas Parker 25th July 1831 Claines, Worcestershire. Both surnames listed as "Parker" maybe a relation? She had two children with him Mercy and Harriett, in 1841 she is in Walsall Workhouse which was next to Bridgeman Street where Joseph Baxter lived. In 1851 she is a lodger with Joseph Baxter the head of the house. She has two children by him Frances bap 1852 and another yet to be identified. Did Charlotte do a runner or did Thomas die young? As she was in the workhouse probably so. I need to check details carefully before I can say anymore.
