Can anyone ID this? Background etc?

This is on the cover of a book I own from 1662. Orbis Antiquus Seu Geographia Veterum is the title. Thank you in advance for your input.

First thing to say is that it was coloured in the last 20 years. The original was embossed and not coloured, so we cannot take either the red or the gold as an indication of the true colours. They might be the same, but there is no guarantee.

The coronet looks like a Swedish Friherrlig (Baronial) coronet?
