I've found Ralph's papers in the Durham RO online catalogue and planned to visit at some point. I might actually get there later this year and will take the photos with me.

Just to warn you that if you mean the Durham County Record Office, its search room is currently closed to visitors as it prepares to move to new premises in 2023. You can still access their help if you see this link it gives details.
