Hi there

Please tell me this post is still being monitored. I have information that can assist in locating the rightful owners to this medal. Through extensive family research, I’m able to verify information required that can point you in a direction of contact. Hope this thread is not dead. Fingers crossed. Many thanks

Welcome to Rootschat.

The original poster was last active on here in June last year.
Hopefully their email address is unchanged and they will get a notification of your message.

Hi all

Thank you so much. I have found him and made contact. Medals are with an organisation in nz that reunite medals with family. In discussions with them currently. I am the descendant of Thomas halls wife Sarah purdie who he was married to at the time of his death. We’re the closest next relatives as he had no children and dead ends on his family’s side to locate family.

I am glad that you were able to get in contact, Sherri. I have also heard back from Paul, but it was purely to try and get you in touch.
