Anyone have Great-Rex in Rake Lane cem
« on: Saturday 03 September 05 20:08 BST (UK) »
The reason i ask is because i came across a headstone i have never noticed before.Unusual, and Vandal proof because it a cushion. On closer inspection.I was amazed to find it was a Great-rex grave. My Grandmother was a Greatorex from Stafford. So no connection. It's the first time i have seen any mention of any Greatorex whatever the spelling. In the wirral area.I have a photo and have taken the inscription, after getting down on my knees and digging out some soil with a stone ;D
The earliest burial is a Helen Great-Rex born 1834.If you think it might be yours P.M me or use the Rake Lane Topic.

Thanks Celia
