CLAPHAM in Tadcaster 1700s
« on: Monday 14 March 22 03:51 GMT (UK) »
Thomas CLAPHAM baptised a number of children in Tadcaster from about 1729 to mid 1740s. Like some other Yorkshire PRs the mother's name is not included in the baptism record.

Can anyone find a marriage for this Thomas c1720s.

Believe he may be the Thomas who was buried at Tadcaster in 1769. There is also a Mrs Catherine CLAPHAM buried at Tadcaster in 1774, who is indicated as a widow who is a possible candidate.

Many thanks
Ian C

As Thomas names 2 Daughters Catherine I would think it very likely their Mother was Catherine :)
