Help finding Edward Mortons parents
« on: Thursday 17 March 22 21:24 GMT (UK) »
Hi, I seem to be going round in circles, hopefully someone can help.

My gggg grandfather is Edward Morton born 1788ish and he had become somewhat of a mystery.

All I know is he married Jane Brown in Kyloe parish/Holy Island in 1817. And moved his family from Alnwick to N Shield and then S shields eventually landing up generations later in Newcastle.

I can't for the life of me find any birth records for Edward and am desperate to work out which set of Mortons from Holy Island (if right) he belongs to.

Any help greatly appreciated
