Rotherwick, Hampshire, Carter family

Hi,

I am looking for any further information on Ann Carter whom married Henry Philips in 1821 and was born in 1794 Rotherwick, Hampshire, in line with the census records for her. However, I have no idea where to start regarding the name of her father recorded on the birth; John. There does not seem to be any births in Rotherwick 10 years either side of 1794 to locate a marriage of John Carter etc. There is a death of a John Carter in 1824 born in 1763 in nearby Harney Wintney. I've had a look at Ancestry/Familysearch/Findmypast etc. but can't find any conclusions to draw from.

Any help appreciated.
