But I wonder: isn't it most of our research, when it comes to those times, never 100% sure? I mean, sometimes there is an uncommon name or situation that confirms, but in cases of people with common names like my ancestor it is kind of a guessing game based in suppositions and probabilities, right?

Any source on incoming passenger lists I might have overlooked? All the Charles Parkers I find at that time are either the wrong age or not going from Argentina to England...
