Photo Restoration Request - Photo of my Mother and her Sister
« on: Thursday 24 March 22 12:45 GMT (UK) »
I'm attaching two of the same photo of my mom and my aunt.  The photo needs to be restored because both copies have problems in different areas.  Your help is very much appreciated.

Along the right lines perhaps.

One from me.
I noticed there's what looks like a shield on the sleeve of the lady on the right. Could this have been a service uniform that was repurposed by adding the decoration to the front?
Cheers

I realize you didn't ask for color so I posted both. The color is just for fun.

John-76 - I like the photos very much.  However, I ask if you would be able to correct the right side of the face of lady on the left.  As you may be able to see on the original photo, her face is slightly thinner and does not protrude much beyond her eye brow.  The area near her right eye protrudes out a little too much.

The photo also appears to be in a higher resolution than the original, which is great.  Thanks for your help.

I'd be more than happy to make any changes you'd like. I took the original and the color version and overlaid them. I also put alignment guides to compare features. I don't see what you want, but will change in any manner you'd prefer. I hope I'm not misunderstanding or interpreting your request incorrectly.

I appreciate you sending me this and how you’ve aligned the two photos.  I believe if you move the first vertical  blue line on the right just a tiny smidge to the left closer to the eyebrow, you may resolve the issue.

If not, I will keep these.  Thanks so much for your help.
