363 centimorgan DNA match

Hi everyone,

I do you use the DNA tool painter often and find it really useful, but does anyone have a 363 centimorgan match or near to it on their DNA results.

Just wondering what your confirmed relationship works out at ?

I have a 2nd cousin at 340cMs over 11 segments on Ancestry but that result and yours can cover quite a few relationhips.

Another site that I manage has a 1C1R at 386 cMs across 17 segments.

Add - both of these matches are known cousins and results are consistent with other cousins' s results.

I don't have anything close to 360, but I have ones either side - both with the same relationship to me:
A and I share 412 cM over 20 segments and
B and I share 248 cM over 14 segments

Both are 1st cousins once removed. The first one was my mother's first cousin. Ancestry says that relationship has 87% chance (DNA painter 78%). The second was my father's first cousin. Ancestry gives that relationship 22% chance (DNA painter 11%), so quite a difference.

B's daughter has also tested (my 2nd cousin). I share 128 cM over 8 segments with her. Ancestry says there is 31% (DNA painter 14%) chance of that relationship.

Yes I have several

as do my mother cousin and aunt ..you'd be surprised at the different number of possibilities when 3 generations in your line or your matches line test .

Half 1C 336  /282 /

2C 1R 340cm

1c 1r 340cm  to me same relationship   553cm to my cousin  ( our mothers full cousin )

And several within those brackets relationship unknown
