Hi.  Sorry but no - the Will of Edward Maxwell I have transcribe makes no mention of Welland farm or estate.  Where in the country is this Welland?

It's in whitburn near sunderland I have a drawing of the land from 1773 it has house on and edward maxwell name at the top of drawing

Hi the maxwell s of whitburn originally come from Scotland and a maxwell  married in to a rich family who was a lord when they move to England had houses in wickham durham and whitburn near sunderland known as durham back then and a house in your they even have books out with the maxwell s in just Google maxwell s of Scotland
