For anyone who might be interested in the Beds Gaol Register but doesn't have a subscription to Anc. or FindMyPast, Beds Archives have a free search on their own website.

It's not my query, but thank you Hillhurst and cuffie81 for clarifying the mystery of the Beds Archive site, which had me stumped!
