All Saints, Great Marlow pre 1837
« on: Tuesday 05 April 22 14:23 BST (UK) »
Does anyone know if there is any way to access marriages at All Saints before 1837 without going to the Records Office? I live too far away to make that feasible. I have transcripts from 1837 onwards.

Reading the info on the Church........
Old Church collapsed in 1831, so looks like 1837 would have been the year the new Church was built.
The only other thing to do, is to look at the Churches in the area and see if you can pick up records here.

Thank you both. I don't understand why the transcripts for marriages start at 1837 but the others (baptisms and burials) go back to the 17th century!

I must start thinking outside the box more often! I reckon I have found the marriages that I was looking for.

Thanks again.  :)

You may find the Buckinghamshire Family History have copies of the records.  Would be worth contacting them.  Good luck!
